Requirements to visit there
Entry visas must be obtained in advance by all visitors through
the Myanmar Embassies. Tourists can also apply for visa on
arrival (VOA)which is created for tourists from the country
without Myanmar embassy. However, this service is also applicable
and recommended for tourists from countries with Myanmar
Embassies as the application process is convenient.
The application only requires information and scanned passport
photo of the tourists which can be submitted electrically
as compared to the need to submit passport with hard copies of
application form and photos at the Myanmar Embassy. However the
cost can be relatively high as the tourist visa can range from
US$ 70 to US$ 100 or even more, depending on the time notice
provided.
You can now apply for it through travel agencies in Myanmar
which provide fast and reliable services.
